CT-guided lung biopsy: diagnostic accuracy and complication rates of biopsy techniques

Objective: We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and complication rates of computed tomography (CT)-guided core needle biopsy fine aspiration (FNAB). Materials Methods: Patients who underwent CT-guided lung mass were included. The patients evaluated in terms age, gender, lesion diameter, localization, depth mass, type procedure (core biopsies FNAB). Results: rate FNAB material was found be 100% benign, malignant all lesions. specificity sensitivity 100%. 70% benign lesions, 90% There no statistically significant difference between two techniques complications. Conclusion: In conclusion, we that close higher there complications both techniques.
